How does usage-based pricing work?
Each paid plan includes a monthly AI credit balance. Credits are consumed when you use built-in AI features. If you go over your included credits, additional usage is billed at the AI provider's rate plus 5% (20% for Max Mode). You can set a monthly spending cap in your account settings to avoid surprises.
What is Max Mode?
Max Mode gives the AI a much larger context window, so it can understand more of your project at once. This means better results for complex tasks like analyzing long documents or working across multiple files. Max Mode uses more credits per request — it's best used selectively when you need the highest quality output.
What is a Cloud Agent?
A Cloud Agent is an always-on AI assistant that runs on our servers, even when your computer is off. It can execute scheduled tasks (like daily news monitoring), process long-running jobs, and deliver results to your inbox. Cloud Agents are available as an add-on at $10/month per agent on any paid plan.
Can I use my own AI provider?
Yes. The free tier lets you use the full desktop app with your own API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or any OpenAI-compatible provider. You can also run local models via Ollama for fully offline use. Your data goes directly to your chosen provider — it never touches our servers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you keep full access to the free tier and all your locally stored data.
